If you've watched Passion of the Christ, at about 4:32 in this video, you'd rmb -or at least I did- Jesus saying, " Father forgive them for they know not what they do " . And it pains the heart more than anything to hear that.
How is it that hanging on the cross, with all the people who mocked you, who tortured you, being right in front of you yet you dont send curses on them? What have we done to deserve Grace so deep? That at HIS last breathe, HE should be asking for our forgivness, asking God for our Salvation?
I'm learning about this person called Jesus Christ a little everyday.
I'm loving him a little more each day.
Why ? Because HE 1st loved me.
I never know how long my love for Christ stays before I get tempted and want to run. But I know, I'm treasuring every moment, evey knowledge I have of God. So that 1 day, if i falter, i can hear HIS voice, and come home to HIM.
If u loved the author Robert Gunns (the 1 who wrote Christy Miller series) , you must read Karen Kingsbury's books too. Her stories would move you to tears. Reminding you of God's love, showing you God's miraclesin the stories she tell. Not so fictional you'd think its fairytale. Real enough for you to believe such things happen with God's goodness.
